Actor and new host of the TV program "Nostalgia" Alexander Belyavsky disappointed journalists who attended a party at Dom Kino recently, the weekly Mir Novostei wrote.

"I don’t give free interviews," he declared. "If you want to talk to me and publish my answers somewhere, you need to pay me $100 first."

Belyavsky then paused, enjoying the effect produced by his sensational announcement, and only then he explained that his principle has nothing to do with greed or mercenary intentions.

"I will not take the money for myself," Belyavsky said.

"I will transfer it to the account of the Movie Actors Guild to be spent on supporting those who are in need – there are quite a few veteran actors in Russia who need help nowadays," he added.
