Don’t be confused by the name: It’s not the South American river that’s celebrating its birthday, but the Moscow nightclub of the same name. Amazonia threw a party celebrating its fifth birthday April 17, drawing a huge crowd of the club’s regulars and Moscow clubbers. The party ran from 9 p.m. until the morning and featured Lady Sax, the Diamond Girls erotic show, the Brazilian Nights show, the Alex Capoeira show, the Salsa Boys band and Spanish guitar virtuoso Valery Didyulya. There was plenty of alcohol, funny contests, crazy dances and a huge cake for the revelers.
