Even though the amount of daylight hours is increasing, it seems like the hours of the day are decreasing. There’s just so much to do and not enough time. We have work, school, practice, obligations, hobbies and social lives. For instance, yesterday I had to get up extra early to run to the office and finish up some work, then I had to run to meet somebody for lunch, then I had to meet up with somebody else on the other side of town, then I had to roll back into work again to finish up what I had planned to do in the morning. After that, I had to run some errands and, as it always is, the few places I needed to get to were nowhere near each other. After squeezing in as many chores as I could, I looked at my watch and realized I was already 30 minutes late to meet up with a friend for dinner. But who has time for dinner anyway?

After five days of that – and in many cases even more – I need to take a break. Maybe watch a movie, make plans to go out for dinner (and actually go), take a walk, read a book, enjoy life. This is the perfect season to take a few moments out of your official daily schedule and pamper yourself with the luxury of relaxation.

Of course, the meaning of relaxation means different things to different people, but we hope, however, that as you can take it easy with us this spring!
