Budget revenue posted


MOSCOW - According to preliminary data on the implementation of the 2004 federal budget, the Russian Federal Tax Service transferred some RUR1.963 trillion (approx. USD70.43bn) to the budget in 2004, 9.7 percent more than planned.

Revenue of the Federal Agency for Managing Federal Property totaled RUR50.8bn (about USD1.8bn) in 2005, which was 20.5 percent above the plan. Revenue of the Federal Customs Service was some RUR1.219 trillion (approx. USD43.74bn), 2.6 percent more than the target figure. The Finance Ministry's contributed RUR130.3bn (approx. USD4.68bn) to the budget, or 56.5 percent of the plan.

According to preliminary data, the surplus of the 2004 federal budget totaled RUR686.5bn (approx. USD24.63bn), or 4.1 percent of the GDP. Revenue amounted to some RUR3.422 trillion (approx. USD122.78bn); expense reached some RUR2.735 trillion (approx. USD98.15bn). The GDP amounted to some RUR16.55 trillion (approx. USD593.82bn).
