MOSCOW — The draft decree on privatization of Svyazinvest will be ratified by the federal anti-monopoly service on May 25, 2005, the antimonopoly authority's press service has reported. Initially, the signing of the decree had been scheduled for May 24, but was postponed until tomorrow on account of today's board meeting at the Service. Last week, the President's administration ordered the economic development ministry to reconcile the President's decree on exclusion of Svyazinvest from the strategic enterprises list and privatization of 75 percent minus one share of the company with the federal protection services and the interior ministry, the anti-monopoly authority and the finance ministry. The economy ministry is proposing submission of the decree to the government before the end of this week.
