BAKU – The following is a breakdown of all international oil consortia in Azerbaijan.

A total of 19 contracts have been signed, but only 17 projects are still active as early last year two consortia – the Pennzoil-led Caspian International Petroleum Company (CIPCO) and the BP Amoco-led North Absheron Operating Company (NAOC) – closed down.

The contract for NAOC officially exists until March 2000, although the consortium closed its office on April 30, 1999 after fulfilling all contractual obligations.

All projected investment figures in the following table are approximate.
