Les Oreades Gallery presented its collection of paintings in the Marco Polo Presnya hotel March 6. Les Oreades, which means, Nymphs of the Hills, is a famous French art gallery established in 1981 by the French musician Edmond Rosenfeld. In the 1990s, Les Oreades started to cooperate with Russian artists and opened a Russian office in Moscow headed by the artist Lilia Slavinskaya.

"We are always looking for ways to present our collections to spectators and we were very pleased to receive an offer from the Marco Polo Presnya Hotel," said Slavinskaya who presented the paintings to the public together with Edmond Rosenfeld.

One of the hotel's lobbies is currently filled with the works of Aron Bukh, 77, who has also shown his work at personal exhibitions in Berlin, the United States, France, Great Britain and India. Bukh's works afound in private collections around the world, and the Tretyakov Gallery.

"This is a real melody of color," Bukh said about his pieces. "There is no uniting idea."
